is a non-profit trade association of mobility equipment manufacturers, dealers, driver rehabilitation specialists, and other professionals dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities and assisting with driving independence using wheelchair accessible vans, trucks and cars.

NMEDA   promotes and supports members engaged in the modification of quality transportation and wheelchair vehicles. With over 600 international members, NMEDA manufacturers and dealers are required to adhere to the safety standards of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Transport Canada, F/CMVSS and NMEDA’s Guidelines.

The majority of NMEDA Dealer members are is involved in the Quality Assurance Program (QAP), an accreditation program that promotes and ensures quality, safety, and reliability within the industry for mobility equipment. QAP is the only program of its kind and offers buyers additional advantages such as 24-hour emergency service if you purchase your adapted equipment from a NMEDA QAP dealer.

All NMEDA  members work together to provide safe and reliable adapted transportation solutions to help build the road to independence. Transportation is the key to freedom, NMEDA is the key to quality transportation.
